How long after MC did it take for your BFP

Hi, have just MCd this week at 5+4.

For DH and I, the only way is to jump back on the horse, so to speak!

Just a few questions...
How long after your MC did you receive your BFP?
If you she my had your BFP yet, how long have you been trying?

I had a MMC October, by January I was pregnant again & it's his first birthday today.

Sorry you've had a miscarriage, hope you get a BFP soon.

I had my first mc in March 2010. BFP in June and DD is now 2.5. Just had my second mc last week and hoping for similar timescales. Fingers crossed or us both x

Thank you, he's a pickle! I'm very lucky in that it's never taken me more than 2 months of trying to fall pregnant (3 pregnancies, 2 DC). Hope it happens quickly for you, I know when I had the MC I felt that the only thing that would make things ok again would be to be pregnant again, if that makes sense?

Had my MMC late November, pregnant by march. DS now 4 and just started school.

It is a difficult time right now and nothing will make it better for a while. Allow yourself time to grieve. I still think of our little unborn child every June, when they would have been born.

I had a mc in May and I'm still trying . Hoping this will be the month!

I conceived 3 weeks after a stillbirth, found out I was 12 weeks pregnant when I went to have a scan because of lots of heavy bleeding.

After my first miscarriage it took 8 cycles to get pregnant again, unfortuately I miscarried again. After the second miscarriage it only took 2 cycles and he is upstairs having a nap :) Each of those times I am not counting the first month after a miscarriage as a cycle.

We also jumped straight back on the horse and conceived straight away! Was a bugger to date the PG though, so if I had my time again we'd wait one cycle.

MW said women are often v fertile after a MC. I wish you the best of luck.

Has mmc, found in June. Waited one cycle and am now on cycle no. 3 so hopefully that's it.

Tbh I'm a bit fed up with well intentioned people telling me it'll happen really quick after mmc, because I believed them.

I got pregnant straight away too. It must have been less than two weeks later as I was given an early scan to date the pregnancy

I'm on cycle 3 after a mc in June. Not pregnant yet.

I wish someone had said to me 'it might take a while to get pregnant again' because I had expected to get pregnant straight away and it's felt like false hope.

The time is so varied.

I'll just try not to put added pressure on us although I don't think I'm patient enough to wait for a cycle to go by.

It's awful because you've waited for your BFP and now you have to start all over again- I think thats the worst bit

Morning, sorry to hear about your MC.

It took us 3 cycles to fall again and it only happened when we stopped trying! The pressure I put on myself was far too much and sex became a chore. So I stopped temping, counting days and suddenly realised I was late.

With my first miscarriage, at 5+weeks, having had rising hcg measured by blood tests, I then got a negative HPT test the day the bleeding started. I got my next bfp 3 weeks later!!!!!. That result is now 5 years old asleep in bed. It was hard having the LMP quoted as the start of the miscarriage for the pregnancy, and made me very nervous throughout the pregnancy. But it turned out fine in the end.

Subsequently all my miscarriages were followed by further miscarriages, until we stopped ttc, all the pregnancies were achieved within 3 months of ttc, but I was an old person trying, so miscarriages were to be expected.

MC in Jan and was pregnant by June, DD now five years and thumping about upstairs!

I had an MMC in August 2010 and was successfully pregnant again by January 2011. My son's 2nd birthday is next month!

Good luck with getting back in the saddle. It's tough post-MC but it actually helps to focus on the future again and feel like you can move on.

errrm 8 days after having an ectopic pregnancy, and loosing a tube , DD was born 8 weeks after original due date iyswim. Was a bit of a shock for even midwife and GP lol
Also had a MMC in Jan 2012 and gave up trying after a year at the age of 42 as we decided it was time to move on with our lives.
