Confused about changes in cycle and late ovulation

To cut a very long story short it took over 7yrs to conceive my ds, now an active toddler. Would love a second child. I used a CBFM for over 34 cycles when ttc#1 and started using it again 2 months ago after a year ttc#2. First month got a peak on day 20 of a 31 day cycle. Month 2 I have just got a peak on day 24. Never had a cycle longer than 32 days. Usually 27-31. Before my peak was usually days 15-17. So am concerned.

Anyone had this happen? Any ideas what is going on?

A year of ttc#2 already and worried about ovulation. Am not young.

Hi, we TTC DD2 for 6 yrs and even though my cycle was typically 31 days I always ovulated any where between day 16-24 days you can ovulate any where from 16 to 10 days before your next period so this would make sense in my cycle.
Perhaps your body is like mine and not 'typical' and you ovulate later. I found once I knew when I was ovulating we fell quickly but we had many losses before we had DD2.

Thanks. I think what was confusing me was I ovulated so much earlier when ttc1. Ivf failed and we found out ai have immune issues so a natural pregnancy needs lots of medication support. I did miscarry in January.

When I fell with DD1 my cycle was 28 days and I know I ovulated on day 14, that all changed aftermi had her. I do think pregnancy can change your cycles quite a lot so this may be what's happened to you as it did with me.

I have a blood clotting condition and we also had fertility treatment that failed, we fell naturally in the end after 5 miscarriages but I also needed lots of medical intervention during pg to help me keep the babies.

Thanks, that sounds similar to me in that I will need medication to maintain a pregnancy. ICSI failed for us too. It is just persuading the dr's that I need it that is hard and right now conceiving as only conceived naturally twice in 9 yrs now and mc once.
