This should be ridiculous coming from someone with a dc1 but, but first time was pretty straightforward - ditch pill, shag, get up duffed.

Now trying for dc2 (Ds is 8.5months) and have ditched pill two weeks ago, no AF yet, and wondering what (ahem, tmi) stringy egg white mucas is? I kkow it means something, but what?

Its the mucus we produce when ovulating, and it helps the sperm travel to the egg (I think thats why anyway)

Yep. So you should dtd the day it appears and the next few days, ideally.

Thanks! If it's been around for a few days is that standard or just my body being weird due to coming off the pill/being 8 months post delivery?

Normal for some people, especially if you're young. Women in their twenties often get about 5 days of it; women in their forties might just get one or two - huge generalisation of course, but you get the picture. Things might be a bit up in the air for a while too as you've just come off the Pill, but might as well get cracking and dtd as your CM would suggest you're fertile.

I get ewcm two days before my positive opk usually, so you should be fertile around this time.

It usually apears before ovulation, so if you see it it means you're about to O!

Hmm, have used an ovulation poas test and it says not. Did I do it wrong or just keep testing for a few days and see?
