Period is now 10 days late, I am like clockwork usually and have never being this late until now. I have done numerous tests including a first response first thing this morning and all are negative. On top of this I'm feeling nauseous, crampy and irritable. So could I still be pregnant even though the tests tell me other wise? Not trying to conceive but it wouldn't be a huge problem if I was...

Pandora I don't know but I am watching with interest. I am a bit irregular but according to my usual cycle I am 4-ish days late, but BFNs so far.

I think all you can do is wait and see: I understand some women don't make very much of the pregnancy hormone thingy so don't show up as BFPs for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, keep trying the tests - many women don't show up for a good couple of weeks after their period should have arrived. Some women don't metabolise HCG into their urine at all - have you been pg before?

raraz yes I have two children aged 4 and 2 and found out at 6 weeks with both.

So possibly you have a little longer to wait for a positive? Are you sure you haven't ovulated later than usual for some reason?
