Ttc for over a year

Hi all new to this site. I'm from the uk and have been trying to conceive for over a year now, my cycles where coming at every 20 days now they are 35 days so yes don't know when I'm ovulating. I have had bloods done and had a scan last week which they said it looked fine just now my thing is the doctors want me to try for a further year but I don't want to wait so long before they refer me to a fertility clinic :( my dp already has 2 kids which pervious partners and thinks I'm stressing to much but he just doesn't realise how upsetting it is for me not to get pregnant it just so frustrating and I didn't think I would have had any problems :( thanks for reading.

If you don't want to wait another year (which I don't blame you) I would push to be seen earlier. Is that the doctor recommending that time? Men are the same they don't see the big rush!

Yeah she sent me for a scan just to rule anything out but it was clear which is good but now she wants us to try for another year well had to hold off a month as partner working away but I just don't want to wait I'm 27 and all this is just so frustrating and just adding pressure on getting pregnant which doesn't help! He has 2 kids so he doesn't feel the need for a child as I do yes he wants us to have a family but if it didn't happen he has 2 already I just wish he could step into my shoes and feel what I feel sometimes!

If your not happy say it's not what you want a year is a long time to wait. Maybe he should be thinking of how you are feeling at the moment.

My dh doesn't want to use any opk's, temp or anything and trying to dtd when it's just the w/end is taking it's toll. We have been TTC for 10 months now and it's getting me down I feel like we are different wave lengths with TTC.

I have tried opk's only for a month but nothing showed so thought I'd save my money lol I haven't tried anything else apart from check cp which it didn't seem to move to me haha
My dp is the same though he just keeps saying it will happen when it does but I think I really need to sit down with him and explain to him my feelings and him not being on same wavelength as me isn't helping much I know if I truly explain he will be understanding it just I don't like being soft in front of him and everytime I talk to my friend about it I cry and I just don't want to break down in front of him.

I going docs next week and I'm going to tell her a don't want to wait on a year and if its possible to sort something out sooner but we'll see.
