I can't believe it. I have PCOS and a lot of symptoms of that. Always had dodgy periods and just took it for granted it would take us ages to conceive. We haven't even been having that much sex lately!
A lines a line right? I've added a pic of the test to my profile do you see a line too or am I mad?
I've sent DP off to asda for a proper test.

I feel sick. I've wanted a baby for ages but never really allowed myself to think it would happen this fast.

That looks like a line to me!! Have you had any other symptoms? I hope your going to POAS as soon as DP gets back?

GrapevineMerlot · 18/09/2013 20:15

I think you're up the duff too. Congratulations!

Smartiepants79 · 18/09/2013 20:15

Does look like it!
How exciting!

hobbjobb · 18/09/2013 20:16

My boobs are sore and I've been feeling a bit odd but just thought it was because I was going to come on soon.
I am drinking water to make sure I have more wee in me when he gets back.
Bloody hell we just got a cat! And I have an interview for a new job next week!

Looks like a line to me!! Don't drink too much water, you want your urine to be concentrated, not diluted x

woodwaj · 18/09/2013 20:26

Yep keep clear of the water!! im excited for you! im sure the cat is too

hobbjobb · 18/09/2013 20:42

Yep, First Response says positive too. I've kept the other one for the morning to do again.

Can't believe it.

We were about to book a holiday for next year, that's definitely off now!

Do I need to go to the doctors? I guess I'm 3-4 weeks pregnant going by my last period.

Thanks for the support!

Shouldn't need to see the doctor unless you are unwell. They don't do anything anyway. Even if you're throwing your guts up!
In a couple of weeks phone the surgery and ask about booking in with the midwife. In the mean time take it easy and spoil yourself!

woodwaj · 18/09/2013 21:10

Personally I would considering going, I also have PCOS and I have been told when I get BFP I will have early scans to monitor it, It might not be the same for you because your not on meds etc but always better to ask. congratulations!!

LamaDrama · 18/09/2013 21:13

Thats fab news Grin

hobbjobb · 18/09/2013 21:17

I am on metformin woodwaj, I,ve been on it for over a year, it's what finally stabilised my periods somewhat. I'm going to call my docs tomorrow to see what they say.

I'm also currently on fluoxetine for depression (I feel fantastic though so they've done their job) so will prob have to come off that I expect.

And need to stop smoking cold turkey straight away.

Congratulations! I have pcos, conceived on metformin and took fluoxetine through both my (healthy) pregnancies - DSs now 8 and 9 Smile

RaRaZ · 18/09/2013 21:31

Congratulations! What a relief that must be for you Grin! Fantastic! I think you should go get a digital test so you can do it in front of your DP and show him the words 'pregnant X weeks'

woodwaj · 18/09/2013 21:50

I stopped smoking may last year and I found the lozenges really helped (gave me indigestion though) good luck
