Fed up!

Hi all, I am relatively new to this page but felt the need to get this out somewhere!

Is it just me or is everyone pregnant except me?! Does anyone else just feel like everywhere you look someone else is pregnant. I know I should be happy for people but I'm getting fed up of it not happening. It's been about a year since I came off the pill and it took about 4-5 months to have any kind of period. Even now it's not regular, I wouldn't even call it a period! So we are having sex every second day and still nowt.

I have tried opk's and they seem to be negative all the time! Anyway sorry for the moan, just getting a bit fed up and had to get that out! Probably cos I just heard that someone else I know is pregnant by just looking at their partner! Argh!

Hiya. I know that feeling, don't worry! Have you been to the doctor? You haven't conceived after a year and your cycles are irregular so it sounds like it needs checking out.

Nope you are definitely not alone in that feeling. We have been TTC for 2 years and we are on the waiting list for the fertility clinic but its a long, slow wait. My SIL had her second baby yesterday. I'm delighted of course but its hard to deal with people around us being pregnant and having babies and making it all look so easy.

My mantra is 'I don't want their baby, I want our baby, even if that means waiting a little longer' And repeat...

Hi thanks for replying, yeah next stop for me is the doctor. Not been yet as its just less than a year and didn't want sent away for being silly. Also last time i saw gp for a different matter when I asked for advice on getting pregnant all they said was relax!
Feel daft even complaining about it, especially when there are people like yourself who have been trying for much longer. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer on the waiting list Solaia. That's also such a nice thought, waiting on your own baby. I like it.
I'm normally so calm about things but just having a moment.
Thanks for the advice ladies. Much appreciated. I'm away to use the fertilty app that I just read someone else talking about to try and make sense of my cycle.
