Is it possible to skip a period?

Hi all just wondered if it's possible as I'm confused?

Basically my periods are irregular but should have been due by this weekend as they've never been longer than 5 weeks. About 1 1/2weeks ago I started getting really sore nipples (which I never get), Thursday I started getting mild cramping, discharge and was feeling really nauseous, Friday I took a test which was negative so decided this wasn't our month and I've just been waiting on AF making an appearance.

Now I've got no symptoms at all to suggest pregnancy or AF so don't know what to think?

I'm in no way stressed or in a major rush to fall pregnant as already have a gorgeous girl and I believe it'll happen when it happens.

Does anyone have an input?

Wait a few days and test again. Maybe you are pg and your HCG levels just aren't high enough.

Maybe you tested a bit early last time. Try again in the morning as levels are highest then. Fingers crossed for you, Good luck!

Thanks, think I'll test again in a few days ago f AF doesn't show. Just find it strange that all my symptoms have gone and I don't even feel like AF is on her way x

Just a wee update - still no AF or any symptoms to suggest either outcome.

DP thinks I'm pregnant as last night he said down there is swollen (not what you want to hear while in the moment haha) and that I was like that during my last pregnancy (didn't know that Hmm)

Anyone had this and if so what was the outcome?

Sorry not much help from me as it does sound odd.
Did you ovulate? Or do you think you had symptoms of ovulation?
I'll be watching this thread, please come back and update us.
I'm waiting for my AF to show too and had a bfn yesterday.
Lets see what happens next ......

Hi yeah I'm positive I ovulated as had the symptomd. I'm going to test on Thursday morning as been hit with the cold today so will have to go to the shop tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes x

Fingers crossed yours doesn't come. Think I'm more gutted because my DP thought I was so I kind of got my hopes up. Strange thing is I still don't have any cramps or anything but that will probably kick in tomorrow Sad

Oh well here's to next month Smile x

I'm out too. Just wiped some blood after going to loo.
Gutted and going to get pissed tonight!

It's this 2 ww that kills me. I cramp every day after ovulation and it makes me think I'm preggers every month.

Arghhhhh and I was going to shop to buy pregnancy test this afternoon. Just as well.
