I came off microgynon at the beginning of July after being on it for about 7 years without a break. I don't remember my cycle being an issue before it, but I can't remember how long it was. DH is deployed at the moment and due home in 2 weeks, so our theory was that I came off it when he left and hopefully my cycle would be vaguely sorted by the time he came home. However, he is now coming home early and my cycle is not showing any sign of being regular!
I had my first proper AF for cycle 1 on CD28. I happily thought it was a positive sign! I'm now on CD42 for cycle 2 off the pill and have no seen no sign of AF appearing yet! I am temping and seemed to have O'd in cycle 1 but my temps are all over the place for cycle 2. I'm 27, DH is 29 and we will be TTC DC1 once he gets home.
I know how long it can take, but I'm just impatient - especially with DH now coming home early... Hopefully AF appears before DH gets home in a couple of weeks.
Anyone else there waiting for things to settle down after the pill?
I'm finding it very hard not to waffle on to DH everytime we speak about TTC etc - just what he needs when he is deployed. So I thought I'd see if anyone else is about in the same boat. Waiting and trying not to show him how broody I am is driving me a bit mad!
