Help, positive opk cd 16...now cd 38 and 20 dpo no AF and BFN on HPT

Hiya ladies need some advice driving myself insane 3nd cycle post mc some may remember me from other threads.

I had definete positive opk cd 16...now cd 38 and 20 dpo no AF and BFN on HPT

Normal cycle 28 days.... Changed to 31 last cycle post mc so even so I am 7 days late - even tried digi test yday and not pregnant !!

Long story short is....is it possible to ovulate and not have a period and not be pregnant ??

Are you temping? Did you continue using opks after cd16?

Unfortunately opks do not confirm you ovulated. I have had (and seen lots of charts after I googled into it!) more than one set of positive opks in a cycle. Only the last set resulted in ovulation.

So perhaps you ovulated later than you thought? This doesn't mean you won't get BFP, but could explain why you have had AF or a positive result yet. Typically dpo 18 is the most reliable date apparently.

Hi...just wanted to let you know this is happpening to me too. Opk smiley on cd14 and again on cd 16 however I am now o cd45. I did get a brief (4 day) temp rise but evidently my body didnt quite make it. Mc can cause some pretty disrupted cycles for a while. Have a chat with your gp, they may give you progesterone for a week or so to bring it to an end. Good luck.

Hi jaykay no not temping !!! Although I did continue to use the strips until cd 21 and had positive 3 days 15,16 and 17 so assumed cd 16 was the day! I did have ewcm over those days and cramps also lots of creamy white cm since then like loads sorry if tmi but even on pantys !

I had used clear blue dual hormone month before and got 7 flashing smilys but no peak..., after ovul -presumably I bought the clear blue monitor ! And still can't use it as haven't had period I'm now on 20 dpo

Done a opk today and got a faint line !!!! Just to add confusion to the mix !

Don't understand what's going on and take it I can't use monitor as I have not had a first day of period is it worth a shot without it ?

Hi Calibee thanks for ur response so am assuming due to temps you didn't ovulate ? Would you count due on date as first day period ?

I've read you can ovulate after missed period but not other way around ??
