I have two children aged 5.5 and 8 and we're trying for number 3. Anyone else who'll have big gaps? Amy worries regarding that?

My D.D is 14 so if I do concieve there'll be at least 15 years between them. I have no concerns. I just hope everything will be okay in regards to my age. D.D always going on about wanting a brother or sister, preferably a brother. xxx

DS is nearly 8 and we are TTC although we have been for years.

Good luck Grin

Similar here. I have two boys aged 5 and 6 and trying for baby no3. I had previously worried about it as my two are so close and thought a new baby will miss out on that.
On the other hand, I will have more time to give as both boys are in school and they will be able to help and enjoy having a new brother or sister.
Pros and cons to both small age gaps and large but I think if you want it you should go for it!! [Grin] x

Hi, I have 2 dc - 12 & 6, just started ttc #3. Age gap is def a worry for me as I hadn't intended to leave it this long, just was always waiting for the 'right time' (don't actually this exists Confused). There was a large age gap (10yrs) between my sis and myself and only now that we are adults have we become close.

We will hopefully be TTC when DS is 10. Not for another nearly year though :(

hippy, small gaps with me and my sisters - 20 month between me and middle sister, 5y between me and youngest sister - and I'm not close to them at all.

Roughty, My dh has had the same experience with his siblings - close in age alone. Everyone different I guess, think I'm just prone to worrying Wink

I had 7 and 9 years between me and my sisters. My parents bought me a dog when i was left alone. Kind of like being an only child but we went away with lots of families from church which was good and i also knew no different. Became close to my sisters when i grew older but always felt they were closer as they grew up together more. As long as theres lots of love and fun thats the main thing - i am fine!
