First cycle TTC
AF due tomorrow but this morning I had a small amount of brown discharge. I've read that many women get this before their period but I've never had it before in my life.
Is it possible this could be anything other than AF being on her way??

Hi - I think it's a really common sign to say AF is coming. I've been ttc for 3 months and last month I had 2 straight days of brown discharge before AF came. It was really unusual for me as I normally go 'bang' and have to run to the toilet when AF arrives. It seems our bodies are never consistent and change every month.

Having said that, I have read that some spotting is common around time of the month if you are pregnant.

I hate the same last night (dpo9) but Im not due until Sunday.

It's driving me mad. If its AF I want it to show ASAP, not tease me the next few days!

I think it's quite common though.

It's really common and very cruel. I'm not due until next Weds. I've already started having cramps, but it's not uncommon for me to get AF cramps a week before she arrives. Very infuriating, but I suppose it rules out the mania of guessing symptoms! The only thing that tells me I'm preggers is a missed period!
