advice needed please

Hi all. Well hubby and I are currently in cycle 3 of ttc our first. came off the pill after 13 years and had 2 28 day afs. I'm now on cd48 of cycle 3 (19 days overdue). Before today I'd been testing regularly and had 5 bfns.
We are on hol in Wales this week and I brought one test which I did this morning. There was nothing to start with and then there was a faint line which oh confirmed wasn't just my imagination. Now I'm not sure what to do as I'm not sure whether I believe it or not. Should I get a digital test?

Ah thank you. That's the plan. It's in the bathroom ready for the morning. I have very little will power but at £11 a test, I'm not risking it not working!

Thanks, I'm super excited but not very optimistic Unfortunately. I've had 5 bfns already and just don't see it happening. But who knows. ..

So I had a fairly sleepless night. dreampt I got a positive, dreampt I got a negative. finally got up and tested and got my bfp! says 1-2 weeks but I suspect it's longer than that.
