fertility friend and opk confusion

I wondered if someone would be able to help me work out what's going on please.

Started using opk's since cd8, then on cd12 I started using the new cb I got low fertility as my result but the next day I got my first flashing smiley and it's still going on today at cd17. I checked fertility friend and it says I ovulated cd 13 with my temperature.

Can anyone help Please?

Hi baby. This happened tome this month too.

Keep going, likelihood is that you haven't ovulated yet.
FF is just seeing a movement in temps that may be ovulation.

I then got a more distinct temp lower and rise, which did coincide with my CB advanced peak readings on cd21 (though Ff only confirmed this on cd23).

Can't see your chart :( You might not have ovulated yet. What day did you ovulate last cycle?

Thanks JayKay and just. It does make sense thanks I don't think I have I'm still getting Small amounts of ewcm every other day.

Last month I think I ovulated cd16, I used the normal opk's got a positive on cd14 and had ewcm for two days then was gone afternoon of cd16.

I'm not feeling so great so I don't know if my body is delaying things?

This happened to me this month and I am now on cd 23 and ff hasn't revised my day of ovulation. It looks like I did ovulate when it suggests I did. BUT I got my first positive opk the day after this as well as ewcm! So I'm very confused too.

If I were you I'd continue to DTD a few more days and see what happens. You may not have ovulated yet so keep going. Also, your very low temp on your chart could be wrong. This is what I thought for mine but I think FF is probably right.

Opks can't always be trusted either because they rely on the idea that you have one surge of lh each cycle, but this isn't necessarily true. Sometimes your body can gear up for ov but not actually ov. Then you would get another surge before you actually do ov. Hope this makes sense.

It seems that ff is right, it might have given you a solid line if you temp at the same time. If you're unsure about ff, try ovufriend, it's a great charting tool, you'll see if it gives you the same results.

Just my line has breaks in it so not a solid line iykwim.I temp same morning all wk but at w/ends it's 5:30 instead of the normal 7 that I get up.

One, I did another normal opk yesterday afternoon and it's still dark but not as dark as the control line.

I don't know what to do now, I have 4 clear blue left and we all are feeling very ill (ds,dh and I) do I give up this month and use the last four next month?

I'm a bit to pot this month too. Have an average cycle of 27 days been using app and cheap opk of eBay. Used them month previous to get a feel for them before us

Alright, my gut says to disregard the cd13 temp and see if it changes anything.

And your temps seem all over the place compared to mine.. Are you moving around at all before checking in the morning?

Opposes cont- before using properly. Started testing on 2/11 as due to O on 8/11. Didn't get any strong (+) that week at all so was a bit thrown? Had cramping on 11/11 which lasted few days, still there. so decided to test next day and was (+)? So much later than expected ovulation so on it like rabbits as I was thinking I had covered all bases, tested again on the Friday 13/11 and was neg (no line at all) tho though rite ok this is my 2ww. But my nipples are so so sore never had this before. What are you're opions on this? And likely hood of pregnancy?

I've just came back and was reading over the posts and found new ones.

Wispa yeah I think too much moving around in the morning trying to get the thermometer! It was another unlucky monthSad

MrsLady - sounds like you ovulated later than you thought you would.

You may have dtd a little late as I think doing it on the build up to O is pretty important, but it seems like you did it on your first peak day so you are definitely in with a chance.

What's happening now? How many dpi are you?
