Anyone else about to ttc #2 but nervous after a slightly rocky ride with #1?

I do want another, and DS needs a friend. I'm scared though - of the spd, the everlasting all-day morning sickness, and of the birth (we were v lucky it went ok in the end with DS and my mind is full of 'what if's for this one).

Anyone else feeling nervous with that 'I don't want to start ttc but actually I do' feeling?

We've just decided this morning but due to us booking a holiday next July, we're not starting TTC until February.
DH told me this morning that he hasn't really got over the traumatic birth of our 20-month-old (Placenta Abruption after finding out DS wasn't growing, losing fluid, violent reaction to induction pessary, loss of blood, DS in distress, uterus tear etc, etc) and I must admit, me getting my anti-D five days after his birth also makes me a bit nervous for number 2.
Luckily, I have plenty time to discuss things with my GP about how I will be monitored during pregnancy and about my anti-d questions.

We've been ttc #2 since June no luck yet! I'm a bit worried as had 2 Mc's before having a heathy pregnancy with my DD who's 2. I was a really hard time for me and I'm so nerves might happen again. I was really poorly with the 1st mc and spent sometime in hospital so worried that if it happens again how would I cope with a toddler running around?!

I was feeling exactly this, and today got a BFP!!
Cried my eyes out in shock & fear!
Terrible spd with DS, not too bad birth though.
Still terrified of the long road ahead, Good luck & we all know the end result is worth it x
