I took last pill of Mercilon on 19th August and went on my 7 day break. AH didn't start until 25th August and continued for 6 days finishing completely 29th- 30th August. Usually, I would take 5 days before I started interim AH, and would only last 2 days or so as I would start new pill pack and it would stop.
A day or so after end of AH this time round I got the EWCM that was properly consistent with signs of ovulation, and have had nothing since, including now, which according the 11-14 guide says I should be ovulating (if at all). I have taken the ovulation tests for last couple days and it has been a definite no! I wish I had just started using them straight away, so I would know for sure.
Anyway, could it be that my ovulation count started from the day after I took my last pill? Which would make the time I think I may have ovulated about right. Is it possible to release an egg immediately after stopping the pill and an AH? I know the likely alternative is that because it's my first month, I won't ovulate at all, I know it can take a few months to settle... however, I once got PG accidently having missed 1-2 days of same pill..
I haven't been on the pill continuously for years, I always take breaks, this time round it's only been 6 months. Making myself slightly crazy!
