Are ovulation sticks detecting pregnancy or am I going crazy?

I'm 3 days away from being due on my period. I thought I would give it ago on the ovulation sticks again even though I've past ovulation and it come back as two lines?

They did for me! I thought it was very late to be ovulating but got two lines on the stick so did a proper test which confirmed I was most definitely pregnant! Good luck!

They can, but they are not reliable enough to trust 100% of the time. Better to just buy a pregnancy test.

Yeah getting test first thing in morning

I got a very strong positive on an OPK the day my AF was due. As a result I went out and bought a HPT and got my BFP

I think that as long as the Test line is as strong as or stronger in colour than the control line them it can be a good indication of pregnancy.

I have had several positive opk's since my pregnancy has been confirmed. The test line is always really dark

I'd not been tracking my cycles very closely but I think I did it just before AF would have been due (if that had been a short i.e 26ish day cycle). Mine varied from 26 to around 35 days so I was trying to see when I ovulated. I never got to find out!

There is an LH surge just before AF, so you could just be picking this up instead, I have been fooled with this before. But if you are getting a strong positive on the OPK then you would get a very clear BFP on a pregnancy test if it is due to being preggers, doing an HPT is the only way to know. Do post here with the result!
