PMS and ttc

Hi.

Can anyone suggest anything that might help with PMS but that wouldn't impact on fertility? I did see a GP last month, but by her own admission she could only suggest things that either would affect my fertility or weren't suitable during pg (ie during the tww). I've never had PMS in my life before, despite having hideously irregular periods until recently, but the last three months have been horrendous. I started taking a B Vit complex at the end of last month, and that's perhaps helped as I'm now only 4-5 days away from AF and have only started being really bad today, whereas the previous two months it was approx two days after Ov. I'm ratty though, so angry I could kill somone (DP for some reason decided to lick my stomach when he was lying with his head on my knee last night, and it made me feel physically sick and I had to restrain myself from punching him), have no patience whatsoever, and keep bursting into tears. I also have no sex drive and get annoyed at DP touching me in any way, even giving me a hug. Can anyone help?

How about trying acupuncture, it really helped me.

Acupuncture helped me too. I also take a vitamin B complex and magnesium and try and get some exercise as I find that lifts my mood a bit.

Hi,

I'm not TTC just yet but do suffer from horrendous PMS, have you thought about agnus castus - some people take it for PMS and i've heard some people take it to improve fertility but MUST stop taking it when you have conceived as it can cause mc. Hope that helps, otherwise the www.pms.org.uk is good as well
