Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

The link to Part 17 is here

Happy shagging shaggers!

no grad thread link sorry, can someone else add this please?

I did a test this afternoon... nope not pregnant. Goodness knows wtf is going on with my body. My cycles aren't regular but I don't think they're usually this long... I don't know what this fatigue is about.

Redshoes56 · 26/09/2013 02:47

:)/ There's the egg white cheerleader!

I am hoping for the best for you, quark. Let us know how things go.

Keep hope up Maggie maybe the BFP is just taking its sweet time?

Essie, my husband was similarly resistant about the semen analysis. They don't mean to make us feel bad, I think that it's just such a blow to the male ego to find out that there's something wrong. It's much easier for them to live in denial - and that turns into putting it off or putting it on us - than to find out they are failing their one biological duty, to procreate. DH was really devastated to get his results, not going to lie. But if they don't offer up the samples, we can't make decisions. Man up and fill up those cups, boys.

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 26/09/2013 10:08

Quark, got everything crossed for you the scan shows up something positive. Hope you are ok. Thinking of you.

Sorry for the BFN Maggie, you are not out yet though. Fx.

My DH was happy last night cos he had a good ego boosting day at work and I didn't mention TTC. Going to try and leave the topic alone for a while so he can think about it in his man cave for a while. I scored yet more points by cooking him a fave meal and I made him a cup of tea this morning before I left for work. Yes, I am a creep, but I just want him to relax and not think life as we know it has vanished!

Sorry viriods, still haven't piar. Will do it tonight I promise. Breadsticks really sore, and normally they are about a week after ov, so actually beginning to thing perhaps I've ovved late this cycle? Which brings me to my latest question. The week-after-ov-breadstick-pain that many of us suffer, is that the progestrone surge that they are looking for when they do the day 21 bloods?

Promise I'll piar later, or if I have time to pop home at lunch then I'll do one then. CD 32, but my cycles recently have varied from 28-34 days, not to mention, my cervix is nearly closed up! So don't get too excited!

DulcetMoans · 26/09/2013 12:43

We cheer for anything nowadays minion!

Ill be checking every half hour for your results too then essie! Excellent working on the creeping though!

Any news quark? Hope you're ok!

QuarksInAPearTickle · 26/09/2013 13:44

Exciting poas action essie!

Nothing showed up in the external and internal scan Sad. They have taken my bloods and will go back and get more taken in 48 hours. They can't rule anything out now so we have to wait and see. Thank you for all being so lovely and sorry for bringing the thread down.

ZingWantsCake · 26/09/2013 14:10

Quark

nosense, you are not bringing anyone down!
sorry to hear that you are having a terrible time! Thanks
but you can't tell for sure what's going on just yet, cling on to hope, all could be well!

sending you lots of hugs and strength and anti-stressing vibes.

Oh quark how frustrating to not be any further forward. Hope you don't have to wait long for the blood test results. You are not bringing the fred down. Thats what this fred is for. Keep us posted. We're all rooting for you.

So I piar. BFN. Sorry folks. Think maybe I ovved late, though I had a fleeting moment of EWCM exactly 2 weeks ago today. I will piar again on Sat or Sun morning with fmu if no ERTD by then. Hmm

QuarksInAPearTickle · 26/09/2013 15:17

Thanks all, just heard back from the docs. Blood tests revealed that I am no longer pregnant due to low hormone level. So i did have a very early miscarriage. Feeling a bit numb really, it feels like it has happened to someone else. Once bleeding stops me and DH will be getting straight back to it and JSing all the way! Thanks again all.

essie sorry to hear about your BFN. Fingers crossed for the weekend.

ZingWantsCake · 26/09/2013 15:21

Minion · 26/09/2013 16:01

So sorry essie, that's shit, I hope hubby is feeding you lots of cake and tea and that he's being looked after too.
We're here to cheerlead you on on the next shagathon xxx

Here we are 6dpo, very sore nips (as per) but woke this morning feeling sick, but that's more than likely due to it having been 4:15 am (bork) and small sharp twinges. This twotting malarkey is reet boring x

lil1ady · 26/09/2013 17:13

sorry to hear that quark lots of hugsThanks and Brew for you. I've said it before but I'll say it again now. u conceived, that's a good thing. its shit what's happened but try and take that one good thing from it.Thanks Thanks

sorry about bfn Essie

Redshoes56 · 26/09/2013 17:37

Just popping in between meetings (back to work after being out sick, and crazed). So sorry quark - Thanks. And boo on all the BFNs. Cheerleading commencing for success next go-round.

I have some good news, at least - my saline sonogram (which was MUCH easier than the HSG, not painful) showed no uterine defects at all. The doctor suspects that the radiologist who did the HSG was looking at a gas bubble or a shadow when she made the note that I had a possible defect. So I don't need surgery. Phew.

fifi669 · 26/09/2013 18:16

Sorry to hear that quark Sad as lil said take some comfort in knowing that you can conceive...

Good news there red!

I'm now 7dpo and trying not to notice I haven't had any AF type cramps yet.....

cookielove · 26/09/2013 19:05

Sorry to hear your news quark!

fifi669 · 26/09/2013 19:37

Anyone else beginning to think they are a little too obsessed with their downstairs? CM, cramps, cervix etc

lil1ady · 26/09/2013 19:39

I'm passed obsessed Fifi I've made an Olympic sport of it!

lil1ady · 26/09/2013 19:41

yay for no surgery red woop woop

pizzaqueen · 26/09/2013 19:56

so sorry quark Thanks take some time to process things it'll be a lot for you to take in right now.Wine

fifi yes totally passed obsesses, cervix, cm, twinges, peeing on contraband sticks...it's taking over my life. I need a real hobby!

Took a lot of persuasion for a tired dp to dtd last night!! I think he'd sleep on the couch if I try to make a move tonight but I feel like we should do just one more for luck Wink .

cookielove · 26/09/2013 20:04

fifi I got very obsessed when we were ttc. And I imagine when we get back on the horse I will be straight back to being obsessed again.

Emrc is on Tuesday. And then sad as it is :( we will be back to it! Fx the next one sticks. (Although technically this one is quite sticky as it is still in me)

AuntieMaggie · 26/09/2013 20:27

I am fifi

How do they/you know if you actually release an egg? I mean surely you can exhibit all of the symptoms but how can they tell if you actually do release an egg too?

fifi669 · 26/09/2013 20:36

My friend just had tests and had high prolactin or something so was told she wouldn't be ovulating... Is a blood test the only way to know?

A question..... If the egg is fertilised.... Will it always implant? Or is that a lottery too?

AuntieMaggie · 26/09/2013 20:42

Thanks fifi

A lottery too from what I understand...

pizzaqueen · 26/09/2013 21:17

maggie i think the only way to truly know if you've ovulated is tracking basal body temperature or a blood test.

personally I can't be arsed with bbt and dp would think I'm a crazy lady.

Thing that worries me is you can get all the signs ewcm, ov pain, postive opk, high soft cervix and still not ovulate. But trying to push that thought to the back of my mind.

Nessalina · 26/09/2013 22:18

Rotten news Quark, really sorry to hear and I hope you're taking it easy Sad I'll second what Lil said: the silver lining is that it's kinda good to know that everything's in working order and you have the baby making power - it'll be your month very soon I'm sure Smile
Also sorry to hear no BFP for you Essie!
Good news for Red though, really glad to hear things are better than you thought! Smile
