Implantation bleeding

Hi, im new to all this.
An ovulation kit said i was ovulating on the 14th August. Me and my partner had unprotected sex that night. I was due on my period on the 1st september but i started bleeding lightly on the 29th August it was bright red on the first day and then went brown for another 3 days but was only when i wiped myself. Im just wondering could it possibly be implantation bleeding? I am normally very regular (28 day cycle) thanks

I had that timescale when I had an implantation bleed - so yes it could be.

I wasnt sure because it was bright red to begin with and then lasted another 3 days while it was brown. Everything ive read on implantation bleeding says that it shouldnt be red. Im just wondering if ive got my period early. How many days after it stops should i take a test?

If you ovulated in Aug 14th then you would expect AF about two weeks afterwards. Try testing about five days after the 'implantation' bleed.

Haha not to sound too thick but what is AF short for? I will test in a few days then. Thank you

Mine was bright red - i thought it was my period coming early till it stopped. AF = Auntie Flo or A Friend i believe aka Period

Im hoping that ita not my period. Ive already got identical twin daughters they are 5 next month and getting pregnant now would be the perfect time for me.
