I am using the CBFM for the first time and I am beginning to get worried.

I am on CD20 now and I am still showing as low on the monitors. Surely I should have had a high by now? I have 35 day cycle.

I have been looking at the sticks and the LH line seems to be getting darker but the estrogen line is staying really dark when it should go lighter when approaching ovulation.

I am really beginning to worry that something is wrong :(

Hi Lacry, don't worry! So your cycles are normally regular at 35 days?

If you use the cbfm for the first time, sometimes it doesn't detect the oestrogen surge as it's still getting to know your cycle. It could be that you will just go from low to peak and there is still time for that to happen in a 35 day cycle. In some cases it might not pick up the LH surge either, maybe your surge is very gradual. It doesn't mean something is wrong!

Well, on average they are 35 days. I came off the pill in March and things are a little irregular at the movement but normally my period comes every 34-36 days.

Don't worry you (like me) have fairly long cycles. You don't normally ovulate until 13/14 days before AF is due, so any day now it's likely to change your reading.

Good luck!

Hello Lacrymosa. I know exactly how you feel as I've been to the whole 'something is wrong with my ovulation' crazyville. But try not to stress too much! I have sort of similar cycle lengths as you and ovulate quite a bit later than day 14. It'll happen. Any day now.

My readings were v odd the first month. I think its getting to know you. Took about 4 cycles to get pregnant. Once its working properly dtd every day from a high reading (2 blocks).

Good luck!

Thanks, just worrying as I've only 6 sticks left. I'm really hoping I see a high or peak before I run out :( We are DTD every other day so I'm hoping we will still be in with a chance!
