Well we've decided to TTC no. 2.

I've made an appointment for my implanon to be removed and now I'm scared. I've wanted to start tryong again for some tume but DH has only just cine round to the idea. Why is it that now he's on side I'm worrying about the timing, worrying about how it will affect us as a couple and us as a little family of 3. Someone please tell me this is normal?

Also for anyone who has had an implant out. What should I expect in relation to AF after it is removed? Can it take a while or will I get ine fairly quickly?

Me and my hubby talked for months about trying and we were very excited but then when I fell pregnant I started thinking, "But is this the right time for us?" bit late for those thoughts Smile

I think it is perfectly normal to have those doubts - having a baby is a huge thing be it your 1st or 5th. My guess is there will always be factors that will make you question whether it is the right thing to do. I worry about loads of things about how this baby may change our life and how we will adapt etc but that doesn't mean it isn't wanted, it just means that I'm having a normal human reaction to what will be a big change!!

Don't feel bad for having your thoughts, I'm pretty sure every woman has them!!

I can't help regarding the implant as it wasn't the form of contraception I used. I had the Mirena and when I had it removed I was told it would probably take about 6 months to conceive, but less than 6 weeks later I was pregnant!! I hope you have the same quick results Grin
