Hi all,

This is my first month of ttc. I've been using clearblue digi advanced opk. On cd 8 and 9 it showed blank low face and since then I've only been getting the flashing smiley face. Today was the 7th day of flashing smiley and cd 17. I have never skipped a period in my life and always 28 - 33 days long cycles. Also, I never get ewcm, just lotiony or creamy watery..sorry tmi. I took the test three times a day yesterday and today...no cigar.

I think I don't ovulate. Feeling terrified. Can't stop crying. I thought pregnancy would be easy at 30 and a seemingly healthy body. Sad

You might just ovulate later in your cycle with a shorter luteal phase. My cycles tend to be 28-34 days and I generally ovulate on days 16-22. The cycle I got pregnant in, I ovulated on cd15, which was very surprising. Hmm

Currently on cd8 with an empty circle, but started opks early this time round, since I'm not sure how confused my body still is after mc. Confused Last time, I started on cd14 (because I usually ov so late) and went from empty circle straight to smiley face,..never got a flashing smiley.

I wouldn't worry about you not ovulating, yet. Even if this were the case, it's not uncommon for people not to ovulate every now and then. That doesn't mean that there's anything "wrong" with you. Good luck. Smile

Oh no. Don't panic yet cycle buddy!

I got my fixed this morning (cd 20). Have you tested yet ?

With the cycle length you described, you're still not late.

Typically (for me anyway) you get cd OPK peak (this lasts for two days) then you'll ovulate the next day or the day after. Add approx 14 days to get to cd1 (AF).

So if you have 32 day cycle it's normal not to ovulate before cd19. Also, throw in the possibility of "a watched pot never boils" and you've got at least another 4-5 days before you should start thinking there's a possibility you won't ovulate this month (and even then you still might). Please don't be upset. Definitely not worth crying over (plus this crazy lady activity might delay your ov further Grin)

It's hard on cycle 1, as you dont know what your norm is.

Also, worth knowing even healthy people with no fertility issues don't ovulate 100% of cycles.

Your cycles are quite regular, which is a good sign that you most likely ovulate. You might get ewcm but it stays at the cervix, which means you won't notice it, but it's where it's needed most.

Cd17 is not that late with your cycle, but it just might be a bit later this month. Also, with the clearblue advanced you only test with fmu, so you won't have to test multiple times a day.

Thanks for all the support ladies. I am so glad I found this forum.

I am happy to report that I got my fixed smiley today. :) so happy that anybody would think I got a bfp haha.

Yes I went a bit crazy because it is my first cycle of watching myself. Never gave a fiddlesticks before. If someone mentioned ewcm to me a month ago, I would have started to avoid them. Smile

Jaykay high five!!
