Errr yes i am an idiot and of course, it was a BFN!!

Arrggghh, I'm 12 dpo today, guessing I'm out for the month but AF hasn't shown her face yet, off to google BFN at 12 dpo but BFP at 14 DPO whilst watching bake off :)

Positive mental attitude and all that

Vickyvix you can def get BFP at 14dpo after BFN at 12 - most advice is not to test at all until 1st day of missed AF (but we all get too excited and POAS early)!

So def hang on in there - it ain't over til the AF lady sings!

Bloumer can't believe you are trying to persuade yourself TO test tomorrow whilst everyone else is trying NOT to test! Haha! You must have serious will power! I know I'm gona be testing every day til af arrives.....I'm obsessed! I can't even help it!!!

Thanks bloumer . I had a google and you're right it seems possible. I'm also counting ov from the day I got a fixed smiley on my digi OPK and a re-read of the instructions says ov is 12-36 hours after first fixed smiley with FMU - so I could be 12 dpo but I could be 10 dpo. you're right it's not over until AF shows her face.

Arrggh so i'm going to have to pack HPTs, OPKs for next cycle and AF goods for holiday.....off to find a bigger bag, the shop assistant in Boots is going to think I'm crazy if I buy all of that in one go!! she'd probably be right!

Vjones, jaykay is right. B6 is fine all the time. Some women take it during pregnancy to combat morning sickness. They say up to 200 mg is considered safe, but I am not entirely sure what the upper limit is, because I'm just taking 50 and I know that's fine.

vicky, it's still very early! Implantation can take place up to 12 dpo and then it takes at least 2-3 days to produce enough hcg!

And yes, you will have ovulated within 12-48 hours after your fixed smiley, so it's definitely too early to tell.

Just on the b6 conversation, I've got pregnacare vitamins & they still contain vitamin b6 - apparently it helps to reduce morning sickness in early pregnancy.

Hi all, I am finally home for the night.

bloumermaid - I think I will wait to test again. I got a funny feeling my little brown spot is going to start running on gas :( Had a lot of cramps tonight.
