PCOS clomid success?

Hi

I have just had a scan this afternoon which showed that I have severe PCOS and have not been ovulating. Quite strange as I don't really have any obvious other symptoms although do put on weight quite easily so do watch what I eat.

The dr said that I will have to have more blood tests and then will be put on Clomid. Any success stories would cheer me up right now!

I have PCOS.

I conceived my DC1 on cycle 8 of clomid. I'm now pregnant with DC2 conceived naturally and very very quickly! :)

Congrats slowly and Hi Jenni I was diagnosed with PCOS yesterday and not had a scan yet I was given clomid yesterday straight away so im not sure if that's a good thing? Apparently I have good eggs that are lazy!? Before I start the clomid I have to take something else to bring on AF! fingers crossed

Hi Woodwaj, has your partner had a sperm test already then? I was told I need my blood tests done again and then for my husband to have a sperm test before they would give it to me! Fingers crossed for you too!

I have pcos and I took metformin for about two months before I fell pregnant with DS who is now 2. I'm not especially hirsute or overweight at all but I had irregular or absent af when stopped the pill. A scan showed one shrivelled little ovary and the other had tons of little cysts on it, like the dial if an old fashioned phone.

Yes he has and all is good on that front. It was our GP that did that a good few months ago, I have been told I will have a scan soon. I had one blood test done and wasn't happy with the doc, asked to see another one and he has been great! He said he expects me to get BFP before Christmas I don't know if he's just trying to keep me positive or whatever but i am confident with it all!

I had severe pcos and have 2 dc's conceived naturally. It took 7 years but happened when I gave up trying goodluck and never give up :-)

Its really good to hear success stories!! and 7 years addicted you must have the patience of a saint!!

hiya ladies great to read some success stories, i found out i have pcos back in 2010 have been ttc for 2years used to take soya and meformin got pregnant back in jan/13 but have a miscarrage in feb/13 just about to start my 1st round of clomid xx (smile)

Hello jenni200. I also have severe PCOS & conceived DD on my very first cycle of Clomid. DD is now 2.
