Ovulation sign?

About the same time every month I get really bloated and uncomfortable for a few days. Could this be a sign of ovulation?

Hi, I have never noticed this myself but I know my sister in law experiences the same thing. I did read a post on another site from a natural fertility expert on how to tell when you are fertile.
