Hi lovely ladies,
I'm having no joy conceiving and have just received these blood results - FSH 10. Should I be concerned - seems high? GP not available to chat to so thought you girls with wisdom can help? Grin

When in your cycle were the bloods taken? I believe the levels should be in a ratio of 1:1, and this is clearly a bit off that. I can't remember my exact numbers but the ratio suggested PCOS which was confirmed by ultrasound.

They were done on day 3. Anyone else with an FSH of 10 or more?Shock

Me I've had 9.5 and 10.2, been ttc for two and a half years. But, in my ivf apt the cons says whilst this was a borderline result it was not likely to be the sole factor in why I haven't got pregnant yet as plenty of women with those figures do. Try not to google it, I've read everything there is to read on fsh and the jury is very much out! Fingers crossed for you.

Oh and my lh was 7.2 when my fsh was 10.2.

Thanks rabbitonthemoon that's good to know!

You're welcome - we are quite a rare breed on these boards, in that fsh doesn't get mentioned much. I'm sure if the fsh was tested of women who conceived fairly quickly there would be a range. I'm now waiting for an amh test and follicle scan but I'm 36 and presuming they will be a bag of old pants.
