Writing on behalf of mate. Long time ttc and had intervention etc and stress levels running high. Tested early on Saturday got faint line. Tested this morning with second of twin pack and no visible line. Hmm
Is this game over for this month?

I guess it depends on due date of af. I think if it were me I'd wait until the date and test with first urine of morning with a digital one. Then theres no second guessing lines and when they appear etc. Good luck to your friend

I agree with Gand

That s what I thought - just such a nightmare the waiting game. Completely understand the need to POAS!

Oh that is testing very early! Fx she gets her bfp. Def wait till its due.

I had this - a faint positive test at home on due date, then went to the dr and had a negative test there the next day and was told it might have been a MMC. Was sent for blood tests after that, and while I was waiting for the test results got obsessed and tested twice more, and in both cases the tests malfunctioned! It was so stressful and took over a week until I knew for sure.

It worked out well as DS is almost two Smile but still, I totally understand the need to POAS. The longer you wait, the clearer it is.

Good luck to your friend!

She must be due in today? Has she tested today? How's she feeling?

BlindKitty · 01/09/2013 16:38

A line generally indicates cp, pregnancy or a false positive caused by something else. You say your friend has had intervention, she's not had any hcg drugs has she, like ovitrelle? You'd get a false positive with that if testing too soon. There's still chance for her bfp though
