Ttc #2. Need help deciphering test! Please help an overexcited ttc'er

Hi all you helpful mners, I need assistance. We have been ttc dc #2 over the past month but cycle is extremely irregular- always has been. I poas today as I'm due on hols next week (all inclusive) and didn't want to drink if upduffed.

So far so clear- however test for dd1 was VERY positive, but this one is the faintest line you ever did see (if infact it is a line at all).. Admittedly it was mid-afternoon urine, and the test is a pound land job... Albeit a 20/ucl one. Am very confused and not wanting to get hopes up/ tell dh. It's prob best to wait until tomorrow morn but I have work at 8 and can't wait u too next wkend!

Is it likely to be that faint if it's a positive reading?

With my daughter we tested early and all the tests we did were cheap ones that showed very faint line. Would highly recommend first response cos it tells u flatly! Pregnant or not pregnant! Good luck!
