I am clutching desperately at straws here but have light spotting five days before AF due. Someone convince me it could be a positive sign please!

Could be. Some people get it, some don't. Wait another five days - keep yourself busy! - and it AF doesn't arrive, do a test. Try not to test early as it's not all that accurate. Good luck!

Hi, same situation for me...5 days before Af due light brown discharge, never had before. Didn't have with first pregnancy so not sure what it is, hopes up for BFB. Keep us posted :)

Thanks all. Sadly what appeared this morning is heavier and despite my best efforts at mindless optimism, looks very much like a period.

Sorry to hear that champagnestasters, I'm in real limbo...rather stressful just want to know one way or the other!
