Sis is making slow steady progress but recovery from this op alone is gonna be a long road. I've seen the wound, tis a proper tin opener job right down the middle from between the norks to mid muff. Pretty awesome, strangely fascinating. She's pretty poorly though. The consultant has said there's really no telling yet whether she'll ever get strong enough for chemo, but you certainly couldn't write her off as she's a tough cookie. we're not exactly looking at a cure though. So, one day at a time and all that.

We did set off today with the intention of a staffy but we chatted with the breeder and we just weren't sure. He was a lovely guy but he did say you need a thick skin for them as people pre judge and he has had aggro with them even though both parents were gorgeous. I wasn't particularly bothered but Ben was nervous. There were a few other things that we were a bit concerned about with that particular litter so we left it but when we searched other breeds when we got home we found the cockers and they were just up the road and they know MATV and his family in some far flung way as they are farmers too.

Funny you should mention doggy having a job Bugs. I was thinking doggy agility. I'm sure I saw adverts for it somewhere.
