No period after pill

Hi all, dh and I are getting to the stage where we are thinking about ttc#3. I came off the pill ( Yasmin) approx 8 weeks ago and no sign of period yet. I remember a delay in my cycle returning last time I came off the pill ( before conceiving no 1) but am panicking a bit! Just after some reassurance of others who had a delay in their cycles returning and then fell pregnant. Thanks

First post here:
Came off Marvelon after 12 years 12th June, Had usual bleed then nothing since. Some cramps and thinking AF is on the way then nothing.
I have read it can take a while, but we were planning to try from Sept.
So im guessing that wont be happening just yet.

I had a different pill but mine took 63 days. Seems to really vary.

Just wanted to say that one possibility might be that you are already pregnant. Happened to me. Came off the Pill and didn't 'abstain' until first real period and Lo and behold, after 3 months of no periods, took a pregnancy test after advice and was confirmed upon scan to have been pregnant that first month I came off the Pill.

I remember before dd1 the gp told me cAn take 6 months for cycles to return.... Mine did not take that long but can't remember exactly when I did get my first period. I fell pregnant again when dd1 was 6 months old but then went back on pill straight after dd2 was born... So no idea what my cycles are like.

Not really sure why I am panicking so much, just feel very broody now and at the moment feel like can't even ttc as no cycle at all.

Ooh I'm the same, I'm now 54 day since I came off the pill with no AF as of yet.
I just want to start trying properly!
I think as I recall (I've been on the pill a while) I have irregular AF's too. I fell pregnant with ds the day we decided to try for him and was really hoping this time would be the same.

It took me over a year to have a period once i stoppedthe ocp. Even now that I do have them, they are very irregular with a 50 day cycle most of the time.
