Line outside the testing window?

Hi there, I was hoping that the wise ones of MN could help clear this up.
I've taken 2 internet cheapies, one a week ago and one today and both times a faint pink line has appeared within the time but outside of the testing window. I'll try to upload a picture of it soon. DH thinks it's from where the test has to stick to itself and the colouring has built up, but in all of my time in testing and being absolutely desperate to see lines I can't recall ever having noticed a line in that spot before (neither can DH).
It's been 14 months since DC1 was born and I've not had a period since, we don't use any contraception as we're looking forward to our second child. So what's the MN verdict?

I'd say not pregnant. The second line must be in the test window as per the instructions. If these tests are behaving strangely I would buy another brand

hmm tricky one, try another brand I thinks.

Also maybe you should seek advise not having a period.. good luck x

Pop to Asda and get some of theirs - they're cheap, but seem pretty good from my experience and what others on here have said Smile. Good luck!
