Sorry about this....

Is there any difference between CM and arousal fluid in terms of its ability to carry sperm? Just I'm due to ovulate, but over the last couple of months I've noticed that I never really get 'proper' EWCM - it's more a mix of milky/watery/EWCM and doesn't stretch all that much. However, when we were 'busy' yesterday Blush, DP noticed that my fluid was very egg-white-like: clear and very stretchy - it was actually leaking out of me so he gathered some to show me Blush. Would this still work to carry sperm or do I have to be producing 'proper' EWCM 24/7 when fertile?

I'm not 100% but Im pretty sure what you're describing 'counts'.

Not everyone has enough EWCM to notice, but the sperm still get there.

So all sounds fine to me!

Ewcm helps the sperm to survive and makes it easier for it to swim into your cervix. It could be that you do get it, but it stays at the opening of the cervix, where it is needed the most. The fluid you get when you're aroused is not cervical, but vaginal. It's different and is wet, so if it's on your finger it will evaporate soon. Cm won't evaporate, but will stay slimy. So maybe you do get ewcm and it must came down yesterday so you noticed it.
