Acupuncture or a 'non stick'?

Morning.

I tested today as my period is over a week late. I have a luteal phase of 11 days. i got a negative and shortly after my period started :-(

It's more than a week late and it's extremely heavy ( similar to when I was a young teenager- haven't had periods like this for a long time).

I did have acupuncture this month and one of the things that was aiming to do was length my cycle- particualy my luteal phases. I just didn't think it would change my cycle like this?
What do you think happened this month? I have Heard women talking about 'non sticks' I am wondering if this happened?

It could have been a 'non stick' or a chem but it's more likely to be from the acupuncture since you didn't get a +ve test before. It might take until next cycle for the acupuncture to work.

I wouldn't even think about the possibility of it being a chem
