Hiya,
My cycles are very irregular, (last cycle 83 days)but I still seem to ovulate each month (usually between the 3rd and 6th). When i conceived DS1 in August 2011 Id only had 1 period that year which was in April so I know it's possible. My last period was July 17th - 23rd, & I believe I ovulated on cd24 August 8th. For the last week I havnt been feeling quite right - keep feeling sick, extremely hungry, got really dizzy yesterday morning when I didn't have breakfast, & have been doing more frequent but shorter wee's. I could be just symptom spotting but really hoping this is the month Grin.
Anyway have no idea when I should POAS.
Can anyone work it out from the above? Don't want to do it to early - I want to no that if I get a BFN it's definitely a BFN - otherwise I won't believe it & will keep POAS until AF arrives - which with my often lenthy cycles could get expensive!
Thank you x

Hi.
Not sure if its fit, but fertility friend suggests a test at do 18 is reliable, regardless of cycle length.

If you ovulated on 3rd, then you could test end of the week?

Is that 18 days after ovulation? Thanks JayKay - looks like it's going to be a long week!

Yes. Ovulation is dpo 0. So 18 days later should be accurate (according to FF). I believe it is a conservative estimate and many people would get an accurate result before this, but if you're not sure on cycle length, I think yo should try and wait it out if you can (easier said than done Im sure ).

Fx!
