Mismatch between Clearblue Digital and my dates

The test says 3+, which is 5+ weeks by doctors' measurements, but it's less than five weeks since my last period. How does that work?

Most women will ovulate at the mid-point of your cycle. Perhaps you ovulated earlier in your cycle & therefore conceived before the mid-point which would be expected based on average calculations.

Thanks, that would make sense.

The clearblue just gives an indication of dates based on the level of hcg. But these levels can differ greatly per woman. So in your case your levels might be high, giving you the 3+ on the test, but in reality it might be under 3 weeks, in line with your last AF date. It's a common thing with these tests.
