Over planning #2? Am I alone in stressing this much before dtd?

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread. My DD is 2.2 years old, we are thinking ttc#2 starting this month. Does it matter that I might have exactly the same due date to last time? Will I be comparing everything to last time because it will be the same time of year etc if I fall pregnant straight off?What if they share birthdays? I am over thinking all of this and should just get on with it? Or would it make sense to get DD settled into Nursery before another one came along? (This would mean waiting to ttc for at least 3/4 months?

You are over thinking it. DD was conceived within three months of trying. Project number 2 started last September. If I succeed this month, no 2 would have a EDD about 15 days after DD. There is just too much uncertainty with this TTC thing.

Yep, don't worry about it. I conceived DC#2 which would have been due in January - perfect timing, I reckoned. Had a MC at 11wks in June.

You can never quite time these things right. It took us 5 months to conceive DS, another 5 months to conceive #2 (MC) and who knows this time.

If we succeed this month, a due date almost exactly 3 yrs from DS's. I've given up caring. Best laid plans and all that!

Plus I have a friend whose 2 DSs have almost the same birthday (3 yrs apart). They love their joint birthday parties (for now, anyway!)

Thanks so much, I know I'm going crazy and should just get on with it,last time it was so much easier with no one else's birthday etc to worry about!! Will def pop over to TTC-2 and turning into a nut job, sums it all up perfectly!

Who knew TTC can still send you crazy the second time around, everyone always says, oh it much easier with the second!!

I don't think birthdays really matter, it's nothing major in my opinion. My cousins have the same birthday, seven years apart, and it's never been an issue.
