Just got another smiley... But I stuck one of the dual sticks (purple) in an old notmal digital monitor (pink one) and that came up with a smiley but when I did it last night it was just a circle. So I'm just trying an ic opk to see what happens I don't think that work for me

Congratulations to all the Aug BFP's so far.
I haven't been keeping up with the bus as I'm feeling a little down about all this TTC malarkey, with good reason. After a 63 day cycle AF turned up yesterday. I was away with family so I couldn't even soak in a tub and bawl my eyes out for a little while. Nevermind, at least 63 days is an improvement on 155 days from last cycle...

I hope everyone else on here is doing well and that there are lots more BFP's to come.

Wow Thora I'm not surprised you're feeling a bit rough, those are two monster cycles.

As you say its good news that it's not another 100+ day cycle, hopefully next month will be much less again, or ideally a bfp.

Wow thora those are 2 crazy cycles. I thought my longest cycle - 48 days - was bad! You poor thing.

Gilly this sounds so positive... For both of us DH refused to buy a test today - he clearly has way more willpower than me, even though he is already convinced. Fingers crossed.

has anyone else noticed this - isn't it annoying that all the symptoms are exactly the same as premenstrual symptoms!! I keep spotting pregnancy symptoms, cramping, sore boobs etc but then remember that I feel that way just before AF arrives!! I have been feeling quite nauseous today, keep trying to tell myself that I'm coming down with something, or I'm literally making myself sick with obsessing over it!

leezl I've got loads of tests in the bathroom but no way i'd test this early!!!!
When did you ovulate?! If you're 10dpo or more I'd say test but anything before that don't bother wasting your money!!

Gilly I don't test for ovulation but if my estimates are correct then today is 8dpo :S gotta hold out until next Saturday!

Checking back in. This last week's been so strange. Before I start - congrats to the BFP's, and a glass of wine for BFN's.

Was due sometime between 14th - 21st. Still no AF, have had AF symptoms over a week now (usually just a week). Cramps intermittent (usually come on strong for a day and AF and cramps the 2nd day... but it's been on and off for about 4 days).

Testing everyday with ic's, but not even a faint line... totally confused. Will keep testing until AF arrives!

When is the best time to do a cb opk? After 8am? Or ok now as I have been awake since 4? don't ask me why

I got a BFP! (two in fact!) AF due tomorrow but tested yesterday am and this am and got a line both times!

Well today is day 27 and 12dpo for me and still no sign of af. Bought some tests from superdrug yesterday but trying to hold off as long as I can before using them! Really don't feel like af is coming but don't really feel anything since coming off the pill in April haven't really had proper bleeds tbh just spotting with a day or two of light flow but usually get cramps and irritable before. Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

Big congrats supercalafraga saw your post after I'd done mine. How many days past ov were you when you tested?

thanks Emjay! About 12 days PO. I didn't temp/test, just used an app as I am pretty regular. Felt very strange a few days po but didn't want to get my hopes up (nauseous and light headed) that then disappeared and was replaced with (tmi!) severe bloating, constipation etc. Would definitely agree that I felt like AF was coming right before I got the bfp (tender boobs, moody!)
8 cycles in and just feel over the moon. Praying for a sticky one!

JellyBean I don't know anything about opks but 4am waking is a surefire pregnancy symptom for me! Have just gone back to bed now in fact as have been up since then [yawn].

Congratulations supercaliafraga! Feels like we're getting more bfps now, it's uplifting for those of us waiting to know it does actually happen!

Charleslingus I've totally been getting those symptoms - had 2 weeks of almost every symptom in the book, then a week ago they calmed down except bloating and feeling like my digestion has slowed right down.

Thora I feel for you - today is Day 140 since I came off the pill and absolutely no AF. We started ttc 4 weeks ago and all my 'symptoms' arrived a week later. I got really excited but now feel like they were just my body sorting itself out, except still no AF - will go to the doc again this week I think.

Incidentally been POAS 2x a week for the past few weeks and all BFNs. Had EWCM last week but opks say not OVing. What in the blazes is going on? Gotta love this conception game.

Impatiently- I didn't test as I was scared they weren't good signs and I was right, af came late, just to confuse matters!

Bloumer- digestion slowing down is a pg sign, when are you poas next? Are you using opks? And what pill did you come off? It must be quite confusing for you!

More bfps - exciting stuff! Looks like a strong end to the month.

I'm 10dpo and was sooooo tempted to nip out to tesco and get a test but luckily my fmu can't wait until 10!
