Just wondering what is everyones opinions on online ovulation calculators versus ovulation kits? I'm just heading into cycle #2 of ttc and wondering whether to invest in one of the kits or to trust the online calculators for my peak fertility days, my cycle is very regular and predictable and always lasts the same amount of time! Any insights/information is much appreciated!!!

gilly Google doesn't think superdrug tests are known for evaporation lines (sainsburys own brand are notorious!). Don't give up :)

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?? Gah. Not fair!
I've never ever EVER had faint lines before and now I'm getting them 3 days in a row. But they don't seem to be getting darker or thicker or anything. Just... Blah.

Do you guys see it?

I just think I'm going insane!

I made it to Australia and missed the most exciting couple of days whilst on the plane!! I'm so happy for all of you. I'm due af today. Tests have been bfn's so far so not holding out. Also my funny tummy went on Monday and had nothing since.

It's just because you have tested naughtily early Gilly, and at this stage even after 48 hours the amount in the urine is so small and the line will vary according to brand/ how much you've drunk etc. Lots of tests would not pick up anything at this stage. It is possible it won't work out, but at the moment it looks very hopeful. You're still not due AF for a couple of days are you? Keep hopeful! There is definitely a line.

AF/bfp not really due til Tuesday

I've already adopted the frame of mind which is that it's not my month and looking forward to next cycle so DH and I can dtd as much as humanly possible lol
However a real bfp would of course be amazing.

My sister has come to stay again this weekend with her husband and 2 children.. They should be here later tonight and going back to Devon on Monday. So that should keep me busy for a few days

Deffo is a line. A pretty good one, I reckon.

Definately a line gilly, I always got faint lines on superdrug until I was really far along, I like the frer and cb digital, both gave me early results and the frer got much darker quicker than ics and superdrug.

I still have a very good feeling about this month for you xx

FRER doesn't show anything
Well it didn't yesterday. Didn't want to waste one today.
Will carry on with the cheapies over the weekend and try a FRER next week IF af doesn't arrive!

I've gone from feeling every symptom under the sun around ov time to feeling pretty plain and normal today (3/4 dpo). So obviously too early to feel anything but it's not nice having no symptoms to spot. It means I don't 'feel' pregnant!

(I know how stupid I sound, by the way...)

Gilly - yes they are faint, and I do find myself squinting BUT I definitely see hints of lines!!! It is so exciting!! I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the time you post a test where there is a super duper clear line

Gilly still think yours is too, although you are slightly scaring me about testing early as I don't know if I could cope with the uncertainty! I must say you're handling it very well! I predict a darker line for you tomorrow!

Impatiently just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel. I'm really hoping for a bfp again at the end of the mth, but also really scared that if I do it won't work out again.Have told close friends abt it as just feels easier for them to know somehow.

BUT ... im sure you will have a super sticky bean this time and all will be fantastic! Lots of luck

Haven't been keeping up with the bus but just signing in to say no bfp for me again this month. I haven't got AF yet, but had a pregnancy test done two days ago before a colposcopy so I know I'm not pregnant. Am on day 37 of this cycle. Hoping AF deigns to show up soon.

Hi guys - what does ttc# cycle and bfp mean?

Congrats to all bfp's!! There have been loads recently! Gilly - sooo temptimg to test early but such uncertainty! I can see your lines tho so good luck! I see your bfp isn't due til monday, really hope you get a good strong line.

Friend at work is preggers, 33 weeks. A wee girl. Increasingly jealous!!! I have two nephews and of course would be happy with either a blue or a pink but feel that a pink would be lovely. (but more expensive!)

TMI alert...

DTD tonight and had a bit of blood afterwards, so I think AF is knocking at the door. Sigh. So I'm off to the September bus, but I will keep reading until the bitter end!! Here's to lots more shagging in September!

Cupcake ttc means trying to conceive and the cycle number is how many months you've been ttc. Bfp means Big Fat Positive.
