I'll try to contain my excitement just in case though. If this thread keeps going like this you'll need a 3rd bus!

Hi Gilly - do not lose hope!!

I got my first faint line on 12dpo.

I had tested with FMU and got a negative but when I tested again at 4pm with far more diluted urine I got 4 clear BFPs on 3 different brands!!

I woke up the next morning, eager to test again with my husband and FMU was negative - not even the faintest of lines!!

Whoever says FMU is best is wrong!!!

Keep testing and enjoy seeing those lines get darker and darker

Yes please contain your excitement because I genuinely don't think I'm gonna get a bfp.. I just think my body AND these tests are playing tricks on me

Don't think I'll EVER believe I'm pregnant until I go for a 12 week scan to be honest... Or until a baby actually comes out of me!

Erm after my whinge fest slightly earlier down I've reviewed my test and saw what could have been the lightest of shadows. And I thought it was an evaporation kind but wanted to do another (3) tests to make sure it was just an evap.

So now I have 4 of the faintest of faint lines in front of me. Tried to take a pic, but you can't see anything on the photo, so Gilly your lines must be a bit stronger than mine. But the fact that there are 4 lines is making me think slightly positive! Unless my IC are awful brands with an evap line on each test. Have 4 clear blue digitals ready and waiting but don't want to waste one as they are so expensive

We are off visiting friends in Cologne today so I'll make sure I pack hundreds of tests including my CB to take and my little pee pot.

Gilly I'm a bit like you, not ready to believe it yet. Xx

Ahhhh impatiently I'm glad someone's in the same boat as me!
It's tricky when they are so faint because you think it's either just not real at all or maybe the test is just playing up a bit.
Until I can actually see a thick dark line I won't believe it!

I've decided I'm going to wait until my fertility appointment next week to test as I presume they will do one there if af hasn't showed up by then. I'm getting so impatient though.. The gap is ever increasing between ds and next baby

I'm not on this bus but I think I'll test on Sat morning (if I remember). I'm going to a wedding so I'll test before just in case even thought I'll only be 7dpo, I'm still doing it.

I had quite a vivid dream last night about hubby's old work building burning down and people being stuck in it and all my pal's from school were over but hadn't told me and I bumped in to them and was trying to do my own things while still saying hello to them and 1 of my friends who doesn't have a baby in real life had a baby in my dream.

I hope I'm pregnant but so far that dream is my only symptom

impatiently I love that you're taking your pee pot on holiday with you...the things we do in the name of conception! Mine is a yoghurt pot which I keep in the bathroom cabinet because it freaks DH out (lol)

I'll join gilly and impatiently in the "am I, aren't I" section of the bus. I got impatient and tested this morning (cd 27, approx 12/13 dpo, I've not really been tracking it as we're only on our second cycle so we're trying to be relaxed about it at the moment. AF is due on Saturday or Sunday, my cycle varies slightly each month).

DH and I are both certain there is a very very very faint line. I took a photo and uploaded it to canyouseealine.com but you can't actually see a thing in the photo, even though it's there on the actual test. I'm trying not to get excited in case it's just an evaporation line but it's hard!

Going to buy more tests and ask DH to hide them until Sunday (if no AF by then)!

I just do it in a glass then rinse out the glass out and stick it in the dishwasher!

gilly yep, the photo shows nothing, which makes me think it's just wishful thinking on my part. This is so frustrating!

Pixie crack the plastic open and get the test stick out so you can have a more up close look!!!!

Disney if you click on HPT pics and go through the gallery it shows them in time order (most recent first)... Pixies is the 2nd or 3rd one I think (same username as on mumsnet)
