Flashing smileys for four days is nothing to worry about, I gather from others on here. Sounds like ov is imminent or perhaps actually happening (opks may not always be accurate after all).

Hi, sounds like things are happening then?! Not sure if it will help but I read a post on another forum from a natural fertility expert on how to tell when you are fertile, its all about recognising the bodies signs leading up to and during fertility, it may help you work out whats going on? Hope it helps anyway and good luck

Thank you ladies... i actually got my positive smiley this morning so you were right it was nothing to worry about. I tried the cheap ones for ages but it really confused me as i couldn't work out the thickness or colour of the lines so i now think these digital ones are fab!! for ages I thought nothing was happening but now I feel much better, although it will take a few goes to see if it happens very month. I'll just have to see. thank you!!! i've researched a little since yesterday and once again you are right, theres other ways to tell if ovulation actually occurs so i think next month i'll try the digital things and temperature taking too.. thanks.. hope you both have a lovely day Smile

No worries. Don't forget to check your cervical position and also mucous next month to also help you work out when you're ovulating.

thanks...i've tried the cm thing but cant seem to find any (i must be a dried up old hag!!) , so i've been using substitute stuff since this month but have not tried looking at cervical position so will give that a try... thank you!!!!Smile

When you check your cervix, signs of ovulation are a higher, softer cervix. When you are not ovulating, it feels like a hard-ish dimple (like the end of your nose). Hope that helps.

Your cervix is a lot more open as well during ov time.
