So, first month of proper trying and it looks like AF will be on hand today. . I know I couldn't expect to get success first time out but I'm still upset that I'm not pregnant. Most of my friends already have children or aren't in a position where they want them yet. I've been getting comments about getting pregnant near continuously since April when I completed the Marathon. So, I can't talk to them about how I'm feeling so was hoping to have a vent here - that's all really.

Although disappointing I'm sure there will be lots of posters in this topic who've been trying for months and months so I really would try and not get in a tizz when it's only been a first go.

As I said, I know I shouldn't, but I fell into the trap of symptom spotting and so more disappointed than I have any right to be.

It's not wrong to feel disappointed. I'm not trying until next month but I'm sure I will feel the same. Even those who have been trying for months were probably disappointed it didn't happen on their first go. It's only natural to feel that way.
