When would you test?

I am using a cb fertility monitor (on 2nd cycle using it) and I ovulated on cd 14. It started flashing saying I'm due AF on cd 26. Now on cd 30 and no AF, but my cycle is normally approximately 36 days long.

It seems that I normally ovulate on cd 14 as was exactly the same the previous month, but then it takes until around 36 days for AF to arrive. As it would now be over 2 weeks from ovulation would you test now, or would you wait until day 36 when AF would be officially late??

Thank you!

I would test now but then I am a poas addict and wouldn't be able to resist!

But I think the sensible thing to do is wait until the day AF is due before testing (I usually cave a day or two before then).

If you are going to test now, make sure you get some decent tests which are sensitive enough - from what I can gather, the Superdrug ones are best and are as good as if not better than the Early Response ones.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply! I'm going to try to hold out for a few more days and then get a Superdrug test I think. So frustrating having a 'normal' ovulation date and then such a long wait.

Yeah sounds frustrating having such a long gap between Ov and AF. The Superdrug tests are usually on some sort of offer I think. Hold out as long as you can!
