Cramps

Hi all,
I need an advice please.
I had my smile on the ovulation stick from clearblue Monday the 5th and dtd on Saturday the 3th and that Monday.. Since like Wednesday I have had "typical period" cramps and I still have them. Not all the time, but they come and go... My period always comes on time and went back after stopping the pill to be just as regular as before. I have, I think, a 31 day cycles and my Af/BFP is due the 17/18th. Any good advice why I have these cramps? Please advice :) thanks

It might be implantation cramps or it might be early af due to ttc messing with your normal cycle. I'm getting the same plus I'm tearful. It's a mystery but there's a reason there are whole threads dedicated to the 2ww!

I don't want to get your hopes up however both times I've been pregnant I have had period type cramps about a week after conceiving. I never used to get af cramps until a few days prior to coming on. Good Luck and fx this is your lucky month.

I have three weeks to go! Am so jealous that you only have one, ha ha!

vjones, fingers crossed for you too :) and 3 weeks do still go fast, I am surprised that I only have one week left now :)

I got cramps until I was about 11 weeks pg last time, but trying so hard not to get my hopes up :)

In a way, I want those weeks to hurry up but I also don't because I'm a teacher and school starts again in three and a half weeks, ha ha!

I feel exactly the same! Difference is I don't know where on my cycle I am. But I've been having af type cramps since last Sunday. Hopefully we all get answers soon

WillowsTree - I'm in a similar position,as I just came off the pill. I put cd1 as the first day of my last breakthrough bleed and therefore today is cd10. No idea when af is due but I'm using opks every day to help me and I'm going to test in around three weeks if af doesn't appear.

VJONES I didn't even think of doing that, I was waiting for first proper af. Had my mirena removed in 15/7 and breakthrough bleed on 17/7. Using that as cd1, That would put me on cd26. But I don't know if I even ovulated as don't want to use opks until we've been trying for a while, AND no idea what my cycles are like now...so I continue to wait

I was due to ovulate between Friday (9th Aug) & Sunday (11th) i also did the deed on friday & ever since i have had cramps. I am also ttc. I have never had cramps this early and im not due to have a period until the 19th! - im hoping its a good sign this month. :)

Had some cramps this morning which stopped quickly (unlike my normal AF cramps). AF due tomorrow. Don't think I am pregnant - first month of TTC. But....have also been ridiculously exhausted and over emotional recently.

My period is due the 17th...

I too feel very pre-mental and have been ridiculously hormonal...lots of "happy crying" this month! but its mother natures way of being cruel by making af symptoms so similar to pg symptoms! And so we all wait...again.

TMI ALERT: Just had a smear of brownish discharge. implantation bleed? Only 4 days left until I can test. Thank god for ic!

Can I also hold hands I am cycle day 20 AF due in 10 days, TTC for 2+ years, been having cramping on and off since cycle day 16/17 it's mostly when I stand or lay, not quite cramping as such more like an ache few boobie twinges but not constant, it's like a sore tingly sensation that comes about 2 times a day.

Cakes have you managed to resist the urge to test with the ics?? I had 15 arrive today, reeeaallly want to do one just for the hell of it!

nah. Course I couldn't resist. No lines yet though. Am stringently waiting until Saturday am now

Looks like AF is here. Just as well though DH is taking me to the Great British Beer Festival on Friday!

WillowsTree I am always very emotional, so dont know if I cry more than usual, lol.... But my DP do say that I am more distant from him, more in to myself. I have told him, that I think, it is more, all the thoughts about the future, that makes me that. We are both from other countries than UK, but work here at the moment, so of course I think about our future (we already know, that UK is not the rest of our life country for us, because we would like to be closer to at least on set of family)
CakesAreNotTheAnswer you can hold hand with the rest of us and wait with us :) and I sure dont hope AF is arriving on you now....
I found, for me, the best way to not test at the moment. My pregnancy test clearly states FMU only, so for now, every morning, when I wake up, the first thing I do, is go to the bathroom and pee (TMI, sorry :)) then I have no chance of testing that day, because I know, that it will be non valid anyway :D I know it sounds stupid, but it works for me...

Aww cakes I'm sorry.

Italian I'm glad to near I'm not the only hormonal one! Totally understandable that you are looking to the future. I try the quick pee first thing too! Sometimes dd wakes before me which means no chance to pee in a container and wait 5 mins!
