The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Boom big congrats :)

Having OPK sorrows in the Peasant household. Thought I OV weirdly early like day 8 or 9 this cycle. Nothing on oPk on 11 or 12 when I normally get a positive result, so that confirmed my idea that it had been and gone.

But.... Now CD 14 and faint line!! What to think?

Also DH sort of shot his Bolton CD10. He has erectile dysfunction and cannot manage that often so we had normal sex on 10 and then sex which turned into a wankathon last night as he couldn't finish. So I think no babyeez for me this month :( don't think I can persuade him to saddle up again in the next 24 to 48 hours if I am OV.

Is it bad that I am googling 'period pain but still pg'

Nope bunny we have all googled the equivalent many times. I don't want to raise your hopes unnecessarily but period pain can be strangely similar to pregnancy cramps

Ooooh Bunny hope it's a false alarm...

Peasant sperm can live for aaaages, all may not be lost even if you did jump the gun a bit. No idea about the opks though I'm afraid!

Thanks for all the congrats everyone. Going to work in a sec, not sure how I'm going to concentrate....

Kitty hope you get your ironidiff but if not, next cycle has your name written all over it!

Well thread 13 ain't lucky for me, knicker watch has revealed (TMI) very pale pink when wiping!

Had a mini meltdown earlier and stropped that i can't face party later, now taking some drugs, have bought biccies, chocolate and flowers and getting on with some jobs, because I'm drinking wine tonight (fallen off the health wagen) and won't fancy doing my chores tomorrow!

Boom I told you it was your cycle!!! . Congratulations!!! Grin

Sorry Bunny Sad

Pip I'm sorry but I don't really understand the implications, does that mean you have to start again next cycle? Presumably it doesn't count as a failed cycle and take away one of your chances? So sorry it's not gone smoothly first time Sad .

Boodle where are you?!?!? We need would like news!!!

I didn't take the clomid last night. Internet sources all agreed it's not good to take if pregnant so as a result DP and I have agreed to only take clomid every other cycle, as I will never be able to tell the difference between spotting and AF. Gutted to feel like we're delaying things but it's the only safe and sensible option. The consultant told me to regard any bleeding at all as CD1 so I'm now on CD3 but no blood as yet this morning and only the small amount of brown blood yesterday. Trouble is this could be a normal AF for me, I won't know until I have my one 'proper bleeding' day.

Just off out for the day. Will obviously now forget all about ttc and have a nice time ahem.

Oh Bunny, really sorry to hear AF has shown up. Take care of yourself today; the world will still be out there tomorrow, so have all the chocolate you want! Hope you feel better asap Thanks

Pip how are you feeling? How did they catch the overstim? I hope it isn't too uncomfortable and that first thing Monday morning they have some answers for you, and a really clear path forward!

Blind feeling better yet? I think feeling blue during TTC is at least a 50%-of-the-time thing, at least for me!! Hope it passes soon!

Boom still smiling at your news! First round of Clomid, a win! Look at you!!

Hi Peasant, frustrating isn't it when an Ov stick gives you a good answer a few days after you were expecting it and throws off your planning!! Maybe your fella will come around; it's the weekend after all, plenty of time for a relaxing shag, right?

Merksie and Thunder what's it like not having to TTC anymore?

Hey Happy, yep CD16 here, what about you? Team Not-Synced-With-The-Group, for the win!! Grin

so DH & I started shagging in earnest this past Monday, and have managed 2x a day since Weds Shock FF hasn't given me crosshairs yet, but I had a faint line on an OPK on Weds evening, with strong positives Thurs/Fri, and then back to faint again today. Had reset CBFM (which hadn't given me a Peak reading for 2 straight months) and happily it went from Low on Weds to Peak on Thurs. Temp dip on Weds. All seems on track - so why am I wondering if maybe our Mon am + Tues pm shags won't be "enough" to have coincided with a Weds ovulation? or does the strong pos/Peak CBFM on Thurs mean my ovulation was more likely today, since it would detect the surge, which would give me another 12-24 hrs til the big O? I feel hopelessly confused. Here's my chart

Apart from the useless second-guessing, I'm recovering from a manic 3 weeks. DH and I finally have a solid week of "just us," so we started it off with a fab drinks & dinner date, followed by a looooooong lie-in and a superbly lazy day so far.

CatsCantFlyFast · 10/08/2013 18:20

Sid your chart looks fab. Imagine your peak LH was Thur eve (assuming you do OPKs on morning) so guess O between Fri eve and Sat eve. Seems to me you've hit every possibility, but one more shag in the morning wouldn't hurt Wink

Merk thanks for the review; it makes me feel better to think I'm ov'ing Fri or Sat night, bc then all our double DTD days will come into play. I started PIMPing 3x a day Blush on Weds, after reading what I think you'd said to someone else about potentially missing a surge if your surge was 12hrs long and you only PIMPed in the morning. Moi, an overachiever?? Wink Thurs night I had Ov cramping, I believe, but now am twinging a little, so who the hell knows.

Harrumph, I just want to be pregnant and get on with things, just like everyone else! (and am kind of desperate to not start the 2ww just yet since our next stop is a FC if this cycle doesn't work, and I am really loving the idea of not having to stand around in just a top in front of God knows how many male doctors while paying for the privilege) (plus I would really really like a May baby!)

Just got back from our week in the woods, and a lovely day out in sedlescombe for their rural fair and so far AF has not made an arrival. will continue on knicker watch for today as I've been a day late a few times recently and am running out of hpts but may be tempted after seeing boom Grin

Hello! boom , my pcos friend, congrats! Pls remind me about dpo for hpt and spotting so that I may compare myself!
Little bit drunk, berries and very happy to see you all. Not that i would not be happy to see you if i were not drunk. Just advanced warning for typos and slishiness.
Met my friend today and she's not diffed. W had a lovely conversation and sparkling wine about IVF as she's gearing up for it. She's choosing not to tell anyone dates as she doesn't want the expectations. She's also told me that our pct only does one cycle on nhs. So, had a lovely time. She told me that she'd wondered whether I'd be pg when we met! Just goes to show.
Met another mate yesterday who's expecting dc2 and told me it took them a long time to conceive this time, 'at least six months'. I let out a 'well it's been over a year for us'. I think people are just very thoughtless. And don't mean to cause offence, but Jesus. Not tot mentio the woman at the retirement do with haycorn ! Parenting and teaching are two different things! I've worked for social services running parenting courses and as a teacher and have done both jobs very well without being a parent! Ffs!

Charming is it not the case that if you dtd the day of or the day after OV there is still a chance?

I thnk I OV today and have just given DH my most frightening winning smile and asked if we can do tomorrow night.... If I do OV today or early tomo then tomorrow night still gives us a chance.....right??!
