I see I missed one heck of a party last night. Spent the day at a food and drink festival. Feeling suitably stuffed and squiffy. Headed off on our holiday tomorrow, can't wait!

boodle I wish my cat was like that! I think the birds know she's blind as they fly so close to her! She'd never get one in a million years! There was an injured pigeon in outer garden a while back and she couldn't even catch that lol!

Yeh but it kept managing to run away! It had flown into the window and broken its wing. The rspb sent it to pigeon heaven in the end . Probably with the one I ran over the other day oops

I shouldn't say this as I'm sure I will jinx myself, but I went several years of driving without any roadkills at all, then managed to notch up 4 or 5 in the space of 18 months. One of those was a pigeon. I saw it walk out onto the other side of the road as a car was coming towards it. I cringed and thought 'oh dear', next thing I knew, the bloody thing was in front of me! The other car must have passed straight over the top of it. Its luck ran out there though...I hit it and there were feathers EVERYWHERE.

Sorry Mr. Pigeon. I still remember you.

kitty! I unpacked into the laundry basket so yes, it is like a bloody laundry here and its been p*ssing it down all day so I've not been able to hang any of it outside. Somehow I've managed to lose a duvet cover and two pillow cases during the move so I thought if I washed the duvet cover this morning it might be dry for tonight - how wrong was I? Now using a double cover with a kingsize duvet - not a good look.
