Ok, finally managed to make the tediously slow wifi work on my netbook, so can now catch up instead of just blurting out my news on the phone app!
Gillster thanks for the wang. Managed to snap myself out of it, I think it was just the thought of saying 'we've got some news' and family automatically expecting a baby not a wedding. Also, as it wasn't a massive surprise, it was lovely rather than wildly exciting, if that makes sense?! We're not telling anyone we're engaged wow that sounds weird via text/email/fb, I wanted to wait until we got home to tell everyone in person before the masses found out on FB!!

spare that's a horrible way to find out about a pg, I would have had that automatic sick to the stomach feeling 
happy I have to confess I was a little bit eager there, I already had an idea of what I wanted, I presented the idea to DP (in that way that makes it appear we came to the conclusion together 
, and he said 'go sort it out then' (I do all the actual 'doing' stuff in our relationship, he just voices ideas out loud in order for me to make stuff happen). So less than 8 hours after the proposal we had agreed a venue for both the ceremony and reception, and I'm in email contact with the relevant people for both!! Reception venue couldn't do chosen date so just emailed back the ceremony venue to see if they could do a week earlier 
. I am known for my speed and efficiency of putting a plan into action when I've made my mind up about something....
snow my DP said he'd cut down but he really struggled. When the FC said 'a few drinks won't hurt' he stopped trying...
kitty 60-70% plus IUI sounds amazing!!! It must be your turn this cycle! Don't get too comfy on that pouffe of possibility, you'll be leaving by helicopter very soon!
