So, I have a question... I'm off to see GP Monday and I'm going to ask them to test progesterone levels. Thing is I've started vast quantities of b6 this cycle. Should I stop taking them incase they give a false reading that progesterone is ok when it might not be, or do I keep taking them incase I get miraculously diffed after fertile weeks passionate, spontaneous, spine tingling shagathon and end up miscarrying again as a result of potential low progesterone?? If progesterone is low what would happen? Would it just be a case of them telling me to take b6 anyway?

As for your progesterone, I've never heard anyone say that their GP recommended b6 for luteal phase...that's not to say they don't, but I know no one professional has recommended it to me, despite progesterone and short LP fretting. What cycle day are you on at the moment?

Only cycle day 7 here Boodle Ov is usually day 17.

Hard to say on the progesterone /b6 front then. Perhaps carry on with it this month and see how the results come back. My consultant wanted 3 progesterone tests to confirm ovulation was occurring anyway, so you can always ditch the b6 for future progesterone tests if you're concerned it might distort the result.

Sorry Kitty I don't know much about iui. What meds do you take with it? Will it be clomid? Are you going private or nhs?

marie I'll be on clomid (to ensure I ov), menopur injections (to mature the egg) and ovutrelle (as my trigger shot). I get 3 goes at iui on the nhs. Failing that, I get 1 go at ivf and then possibly a go with a frozen embryo. My area seems to be pretty good really. If I lived a few miles out, it's a very different story

Boodle it seems we're both still in limbo. 4 days of spotting then yesterday nothing then minor (only a hint of colour iyswim) spotting again today. No idea what dpo, but maximum 13dpo given I definitely didn't ov before cd18. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!! I always have ridiculously light AF's but this is taking the p1ss!!!
If nothing again tomorrow morning ha ha, tempting fate there I may have to make my own pot by using a knife to cut a water bottle in half not that I've been over thinking this today and brace myself for a bfn. I really don't need this horrible limbo right now as I'm doing the same continuous internal turmoil as haycorn (that was spot on btw) but I'm supposed to be all giddy and happy and not thinking about ttc right now as DP proposed to me today on top of a big mountain!!!
And all I could think on the way down was 'wouldn't it be nice to be able to share double happy news with our families as when we say we have news they'll all be expecting a pg announcement as they know we're trying'

Aww barking congratulations, that's great news! All these berry weddings to look forward to! Sorry you're still confused, I agree that you should pimp and not just because I'm a pimp pusher but I think you need to know one way or another, it's obviously eating you up. Consider yourself wanged Barking! Massive congrats, you must be thrilled. Now I know it isn't easy but please try and not fret about this spotting and just enjoy the next few days. DH proposed to me in Boston which was completely unexpected and lovely. You don't want to look back in a few years time and regret not fully enjoying this moment. X

CD25 here and just got a positive on the OPK - yay! This always makes me a bit happy . We've DTD every day for the last three days and also two days before that. Will continue for the next 2-3 days to make sure. Exhausting!

Was also thinking that I should try and get my "day 21" progesterone blood test repeated as haven't had a positive one yet but only because the blood was taken at the wrong time. Am I correct in thinking that this should be done 7 days before AF? I know the IVF clinic will eventually want this once we get our appointment and with only 7 months to go before I am 40 I want to avoid any undue delays.
