Would I be mad to test 4 days before missed period?

Hi this is my first post. We have being ttc our 1st since feb and did get pregnant in April which sadly ended in miscarriage in May. This is our second month trying again af is due on Tuesday. I have a cheapo tesco hpt in the bathroom cabinet which is just calling to me! I have had a couple of twinges this week in my ovary region which I remember from last time but no other symptoms. I know I'm just being impatient and dp would discourage me defo (if he were here) wwyd?

I'm in the same situation (AF due monday or Tuesday, who knows), and have asked my DH to hide the tests...

You wouldn't be mad to do it, but looking at it rationally, if it's a BFN you will still not know whether you're pregnant or not... so you're better off waiting until Tuesday and seeing if AF shows up...

But we're not rational are we :) and if I had a test at home (or if I knew where DH hid mine!) I would definitely test now!

Yeah I know I should wait. I think I'm going to have to go out and therefore out of temptations way! but not to tesco to stock up on more tests

Just make sure you get an "early test" Superdrug's own brand come highly recommended as are very sensitive! Good luck
